On Sunday 18th August I set out to walk the Dales Way, an 82 mile walk from Ilkley to Windermere. I was most grateful at the start for the assistance I received from members of West Yorkshire Royal Military Police Association, for their help with transport and their company for so far along the way. I am also grateful to Noele Christon who joined me for two days although our second day was so wet he may have regretted offering to join me.
During the “Walk” I collected almost £300 in my bucket, (along with a fair amount of water) with sponsorship the total raised will be about £3,000. I am grateful to all of those who sponsored me and those who put money in my bucket en-route.
