On Saturday 21st June we held our Annual Memorial Dinner once more in the Golden Lion Hotel, Northallerton. The event was well attended and with Sponsorship and donations raised over £3,000.
Our thanks to Mr. Joseph Parkes-Hatley, our Guest Speaker, a young man who was helped by a grant from the Trust to acheive his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award by working with Tourist Elephants in Indonesia.
Guests were welcomed by Piper Keith Thomas and entertained during the evening by Harpist Sarah Paterson and the Crash Bang Wallop Youth Theatre Singers
We would also like to thank all those who attended and helped make it such a successful evening. I was able to tell all those attending that, during the year we had made grants of £11,500 to a variety of Charitable Causes.
